The product works by ​means of controlled reactive oxygen radicals.

SkiMed Super reduces the microbial load of wounds and creates a moist environment, ​helping the body to develop its own healing process. Application is non-irritating and ​does not damage healthy tissue. The product can be used for all animal species, except ​fish and amphibians.

Usage:

SkinMed® Super is applied to damaged skin or mucous membranes to cleanse the wound ​and reduce the risk of infection.

For the treatment of hair and skin to remove dirt and odour. For the treatment of minor ​wounds, e.g. after removal of a tick. For treatment of interdigital spaces and skin folds.

For treatment of wounds of the gums and oral mucosa.

Product Description:

SkinMedSuper HydroGel is a hydroactive gel designed for the application of minor ​superficial wounds.The application is non-irritating.

SkinMed Super HydroGel hydrates the damaged skin and reduces the microbial load in ​the affected area which should reduce the risk of secondary infection.

The consistency of the gel is optimal for application in all positions (it does not flow), it ​adheres to the site of the wound or skin defect. It ensures a non-traumatic wound ​dressing. Hypo-allergenic, non toxic also when licked or swallowed.

The product can be used for all animal species, except fish and amphibians.

Usage:

SkinMed Super HydroGel is designed for the treatment of all types of minor surface ​wounds. It is suitable for routine mechanical treatment of minor wounds, for the ​treatment of interstitial spaces and skin folds.

SkinMed StomaGel HY

HY Hydrogel 30g, 50g

Product Description:

SkinMed StomaGel HY is a gel enriched with hyaluronic acid designed for oral cavity ​application.

The gel moisturises the damaged area, helps to reduce the microbial load and the ​possibility of secondary infection.

The consistency of the gel is optimal for application in all positions (it does not flow), it ​adheres to the wound site. The product is hypo-allergenic, non-toxic even if swallowed.

The product can be used for all animal species, except fish and amphibians.

Usage:

Clean the affected area of mechanical debris. Rinse the affected area for a better healing ​effect with rinse solution SkinMed Super. Then apply the gel directly on the affected area, ​so that it follows the edges of the affected area in a sufficient layer. Apply 3-4 times a day ​until the affected area is healed.

SkinMed Otic

SkinMed Otic 60 ml and 130 ml bottles

Product Description::

Solution for cleaning the external ear canal and auricle of dogs and cats. The ear cleaning ​solution is intended for routine cleaning and to prevent excessive earwax production.

Usage:

Apply several drops into the external ear canal and gently massage the base of the ​auricle. When the earwax has dissolved, allow the animal to shake its head, and then ​remove any remaining earwax with a piece of cotton wool. Treat as needed, depending on ​the condition of the ear and the amount of the earwax. Repeat once to three times a day, ​or once a week.

Dogs, cats

Contraindications:

Should not be applied to the external ear canal if eardrum disruption is suspected.

SkinMed Opthal

Bottle with dropper: 50ml, 60ml, 130ml and 150ml

Product Description:

SkinMed Ophtal is a superoxidised pH neutral solution with blueberry extract. It is used to ​rinse itchy and irritated eyes and to cleanse the eye area of dirt and dust. At the ​application site, it helps to reduce the burden caused by harmful microorganisms. It may ​help reduce the symptoms of dry eye.

Blueberry extract soothes irritated eyes, increases visual acuity and may promote ​collagen production. The product can be used in all animal species. Application is non-​irritating. It does not contain alcohol, steroids or antibiotics.

Usage:

SkinMed Ophtal is applied as an eye and eye area rinse, eye wound rinse or as an eye and ​eye area cleansing solution for watery eyes. At the application site, it helps to reduce the ​burden caused by harmful microorganisms – making it suitable for conjunctivitis or ​corneal inflammation.

SkinMed HydroGel HY

Hydrogel 50g

Product Description:

SkinMed HydroGel HY is a gel enriched with hyaluronic acid for topical application to ​damaged skin and mucous membranes. The gel hydrates the minor abrasions, reduces ​microbial load, and creates a moist environment that may provide an enhanced ​environment for healing. The soothing effect may help reduce pain and swelling.

The consistency of the gel is optimal for application in all positions (it does not flow), it ​adheres perfectly to the site of abrasion. Application is non-irritating. The gel is also safe ​to lick or swallow.

The product can be used for all animal species, except fish and amphibians.

Usage: :

For topical application on minor abrasion and cuts.

SkinMed Chlorhexidine Spray

Spray in a pressure container 150 ml, 300 ml

Product Description:

Blue-green solution in spray form, containing chlorhexidine, for topical application to ​skin, hooves and external genitalia.

The product is used to cleanse the treated area, in which the ingredients (chlorhexidine) ​contribute to reducing the possibility of negative effects of undesirable micro-organisms.

When using with the product, please note it can also be applied simultaneously to the ​instruments and surfaces used.

Usage:

The product is applied as a spray from a distance of 15 - 20 cm.

The product must be shaken before use. Application can be repeated as required. For ​external use only. The product must not be used to disinfect the teats and udders of dairy ​cows. Transient local reactions may occur in hypersensitive individuals.

Target animal species:

Cattle, pigs, poultry, dogs, cats.

SkinMed Chlorhexidine ​Shampoo 0,5%

Shampoo for dogs, cats and horses, enriched with an ingredient that counteracts ​undesirable microorganisms. Packing 236 ml, 1 litre.

Product Description::

SkinMed Chlorhexidine Shampoo is a concentrated shampoo designed for external coat ​and skin care of dogs and cats, enriched with an ingredient that helps reduce the burden ​of unwanted microorganisms.

SkinMed Chlorhexidine Shampoo is designed to support treatment for skin and coat ​problems in dogs, cats and horses. The product also has a cleansing and deodorising ​effect and restores the shine to the coat of treated animals.

Usage:

SkinMed Chlorhexidine Shampoo is applied to the wet coat of the animal in sufficient ​quantity to produce sufficient foam.

The animal is thoroughly wetted with warm water. Enough shampoo is applied to create a ​foam and more water is added as necessary. The product is massaged into the coat and ​skin for 2 to 5 minutes. The coat and skin are then rinsed thoroughly with clean water. If ​necessary, a second application of shampoo may be made. Finally, the coat is thoroughly ​dried. The procedure can be repeated as needed and depending on the condition of the ​skin and coat in 1 - 7 days. Once the condition of the skin and coat has improved, the ​bathing intervals can be extended.

Product Description:

A 2% chlorhexidine topical gel for animal use as adjunct supportive therapy in the ​veterinary management of skin ailments such as skin irritation, dermatitis, and allergic ​skin conditions.

The product can also be used in the oral cavity as an aid in reducing microorganism and ​plaque formation.

Usage:

Apply the gel directly to the affected area in a sufficient layer and prevent the animal ​from licking the treated areas. Repeat this procedure at least twice a day.

Product Description:

SkinMed Aural HydroGel a dermatological preparation in gel form, which is intended for ​application to the external ear canal in the case of minor abrasions and can also be used ​as a supportive agent in the management of ear infections. Its properties create an ​environment unfavourable for the growth of harmful bacteria. The application of the gel is ​non-irritating and moisturising. It helps to reduce the microbial load and the risk of ​secondary infection, and creating an environment that helps the body to develop its own ​healing process. It helps soothe the affected area, which may contribute to reducing pain ​and swelling. The application promotes the dissolution of earwax. The liquid consistency ​of the gel is optimal for application into the external ear canal.
